Brooks D. Tucker || Member, Board of Directors
Brooks D. Tucker is the Vice President of Government Relations for the Continental Consulting Group Corporation based in Alexandria, Virginia. He was previously the Senior Policy Adviser – National Security and Veterans’ Affairs for United States Senator Richard Burr from 2010-2015, the Deputy Staff Director for the Republican Staff – Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee in 2010 and a U.S. Marine Corps Congressional Fellow in the United States Senate in 2009. Brooks is a retired U.S. Marine Corps lieutenant colonel with over twenty years of Active and Reserve service, including deployments to the Western Pacific, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. After his initial period of Active service, he was employed by Merrill Lynch in Washington DC before a ten year career with Deutsche Bank’s private wealth management division in Baltimore, Maryland. Brooks is a 1987 graduate of the University of Maryland, a 2006 graduate of Marine Corps Command and Staff College and received a Certificate in Legislative Studies from Georgetown University’s Government Affairs Institute in 2010. He served on the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation’s board of directors from 2000-2010 and has been a mentor and team leader for the Semper Fi Fund’s “Semper Fi Odyssey” veterans’ transition program since 2014. He resides in Annapolis, Maryland with his wife, Anita and two children, Forrest and Kate.
